I know, Farmville doesn't kill babies, horribly reprehensibly irresponsible people do, but we can add another reason I'm glad I don't play those games to the list.

You know, I hate Zynga as much as the next dude but making Farmville the focus of that article is pretty inappropriate. For shame, Kotaku.

Hey, at least she didn't play Kingdom of Loathing like the Virginia Tech shooter. Or have a D&D inspired Satanic suicide.

I (and you) have known many people for whom gaming is a social crutch, or an outright replacement of true social interaction. I've sat through endless hours of Catan, WoW, Magic, Diplomacy, innumerable RPGs, poker, football, baseball, etc., some of which I like and some of which I don't, but I don't look down on people because they happen to like a game which I don't.

The moral of this story is "Don't leave babies with psychopaths," not, "I'm glad I don't play Farmville."

Jack Thompson should've been going after Farmville, not GTA and Mass Effect.

That is a throwdown I would pay to see. Farmville players would totally cut a bitch, you know.

Because... if you played them, someone would show up at your door with a baby?

That these things happen is incredibly tragic. It's hard to believe that people can have such warped priorities.
